Nothing refreshes like a tart and tangy tongue lashing from a sour beer. Often referred to as a Kettle Sour or styles like Gose (a tart German style traditionally made with Coriander seed and a pinch of salt) and Berliner Weisse (another tart and refreshing German style). They're often seen as a black canvas for brewers to add oodles of fruit or dry-hop to the wazoo.
