"As the pains of the world fade away your eyes flicker back open on an empty hall. A doorway stands at one end, its complex and ornate filigree surrounds chipped and worn with the gentle wear of passing aeons. The yawning portal stands open and within you glimpse a featureless void offering the inviting darkness of a peaceful oblivion. Hesitant, you turn 180 degrees. Behind you stands a starkly different door, trimmed in knife-sharp lines of shining steel. The antiseptic white glow from beyond calls out with a disquieting offer of eternal bliss. Here beside you, Janus appears, both faces implacable and stern. His single word breaks the echoing silence. “Choose.” This American Amber Ale is a modern take on a classic American style. Boiled for 180 minutes to develop a bold and complex malt character and a deep, bright amber hue. On the nose Idaho 7 and Cascade lend a distinctively fruity and floral quality to the beer with notes of pine and Turkish delight. On the palate Janus is full-bodied and richly layered with toasty malt character driven by the toffee and caramel flavors and a velvety mouthfeel that were coaxed out during the three-hour boil . This lends the beer a depth and complexity, while also providing a firm backbone of sweetness that is perfectly balanced by a moderate hop bitterness and a deceptively dry finish." - Small Gods

Meet the Dealers
We’re Antoinette, Natasha, Matt and Simon. We’re good booze lovers just like you. We started our beery journey in 2013 when we opened the famous Brewski on Brisbane’s infamous Caxton Street. In 2018 we opened our first My Beer Dealer under Brewski, it’s one of the few drink-in bottle shops in Queensland and we’re super chuffed with it. 2020 was a big year for us, we launched our online store (you’re looking at it) and opened our second bricks ‘n mortar shop next to Eagle Junction station in Brisbane’s Clayfield (we’re super chuffed with it as well). Both of these have allowed us to complement our awesome beer range with our other passions of good wine and good spirits.
As we’re a small family run business we prefer to support other family businesses and small producers, ensuring that when you visit us it’s not the same old, same old.
