What are we getting?

 Strong hits of tropical, hints of pine and loads of passionfruit straight up, even when pouring it was super fragrant. Can taste low key notes of stone fruit and big passionfruit flavours. Very light, crisp and clean, has a sweetness that is very subtle hoppy goodness got me thinking of my old friend Simcoe, of which I have a love hate relationship with. Maybe it’s the beer, maybe it’s me….. Who knows?

When to drink and what to pair it with? Perfect for summer, excellently paired with a BBQ with friends or hot chips at the beach. Either way this is what the good lord would want you to have when the QLD sun is burning high.

Who is this beer for? Anyone who loves a tropical and fruity pale ale. Or those who are dipping the toe into the world of craft beer. Light, easy to drink and lower on the ABV at 5.2%, an excellent selection for anyone who loves a good crisp and smashable summer delight.

Is this beer readily available? One of Brewdogs core range, but just because it’s always brewing doesn’t mean you can leave it till next time.

Why do we like this beer? I was surprised by the vibrance of colour and fragrance of this beer. As one who would usually walk past the easy drinking and saunter on down to the IPA and Sour fridges this is not a beer I would usually go for. I will say though that this is part of a summer line up I would have on hand.

We’re Antoinette, Natasha, Matt and Simon. We’re good booze lovers just like you. We started our beery journey in 2013 when we opened the famous Brewski on Brisbane’s infamous Caxton Street. In 2018 we opened our first My Beer Dealer under Brewski, it’s one of the few drink-in bottle shops in Queensland and we’re super chuffed with it. 2020 was a big year for us, we launched our online store (you’re looking at it) and opened our second bricks ‘n mortar shop next to Eagle Junction station in Brisbane’s Clayfield (we’re super chuffed with it as well). Both of these have allowed us to complement our awesome beer range with our other passions of good wine and good spirits.
