Almanac Beer Co
Founded in 2011 by two avid home brewers, Damian Fagan and Jesse Friedman, Almanac Beer Co. brews innovative and funky beers inspired by California's rich agricultural bounty. From selling their first brew boot-leg style out of the trunk of their car, to now offering a broad portfolio of beers in a wide range of styles, from oak-aged sours, to decadent stouts, and (of course) hazy IPAs.
They're a bit of a hidden gem in amongst all the Californian breweries we get over here, but we're massive fans and they bring the funk in all kinds of ways that you should definitely be checkin' out.
